Project Summary:
The New Prague Wastewater Facility utilizes state-of-the-art technology in wastewater treatment, including: biological aerated filters, parallel plate clarifiers, membrane filtration and UV disinfection. The bio-solids produced at the facility are dried and utilized as soil amendments. Wilkus Architects was hired as a direct consultant under Bolton & Menk for services starting at initial conceptual design through construction administration.
Working together with Bolton & Menk, Wilkus Architects' services led the project through stringent wastewater treatment standards, while staging plans for future incorporation of bio-solid recycling in the city's treatment process.
