In December 2017, Hai Hai, a Southeast Asian street food restaurant and bar opened it's doors in the Northeast neighborhood of Minneapolis. Hai Hai broke ground in July of 2017, with construction wrapping up in late October / early November.
This project was carried out by our team at Wilkus Architects, with the help of Kalcon, AST and Boelter Premier, and finished with the creative interior vision of Hai Hai owners Christina Nguyen and Birk Grudem. With lots of natural wooden accents, windows inviting in natural light and lush greenery, the space is truly tropical and inviting.
